Job Description

We are looking for someone with end-to-end Accounts Receivable experience to join our small Finance Team. This position will provide support to our Finance Manager and support the administrative and systemic needs of the business across multiple states / territories.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will be part of a Finance Team of 3, performing end-to-end Accounts Receivable process, including:

  • Extracting billing information from our database, time-based and contract billing;
  • Assistance with purchase invoicing and month-end process;
  • NDIS Portal claims weekly;
  • NDIS Plan / self-billing fortnightly;
  • Reconciliation of billing to MYOB and database;
  • Debtor follow up;
  • To facilitate the resolution of debtor queries;
  • To estimate income;
  • To participate in projects and systems improvement;
  • Continuous improvement of processes.

The position will be a good fit for someone who has excellent Excel and IT skills and attention to detail, great interpersonal skills, friendly nature, and a sense of humour. 

We are a small but growing company, and so the right candidate will be flexible and adaptable, open to a change and able to respond to a growing company’s needs and assist with processes improvement.

The position will be based in Pennant Hills, with an option to work from home a few days a week. 

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills and experience we are seeking include:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable and Finance role;
  • Previous experience with NDIS billing;
  • High-level information technology skills (MYOB, Microsoft Office Excel, Apple Mac, etc.);
  • Capability to prioritise, organise and manage your time and workload in a high volume environment;
  • Ability to multi-task and manage work processes to meet deadlines;
  • Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • An attention to detail;
  • Ability to think strategically, across multiple work systems and processes;
  • Initiative, flexibility and an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Due to the nature of our business, it is required that our staff have a WWCC and NDIS Screening clearances.
