Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a dynamic Systems & Resources Officer who loves solving problems and helping others feel confident using digital tools. You will be highly organised, analytical, adaptable, and warm — a confident problem-solver who brings a calm presence and can explain tech in a human way.

As the Systems & Resources Officer at SAL Consulting you will play a vital role in supporting our Practitioners and Leadership Team with tasks that include:

  • Managing and maintaining collaborative, solutions-focused relationships with IT vendors (Origin84, Telstra) for onboarding/offboarding workflows, IT device management and procurement, IT projects and issues resolution.
  • Managing internal platforms like ELMO, Safety Champion, SharePoint, Adaptive, and Cliniko.
  • Coordinating staff access to external portals (PRODA, NDIS Commission, NSW Dept. of Communities & Justice) and troubleshooting issues.
  • Coordinating clinical testing kits and fleet vehicles.
  • Maintaining accurate registers and documentation for IT assets and fleet.
  • Delivering onboarding support and friendly staff training for digital tools and systems.
  • Developing and updating user guides, FAQs, and operational procedures.
  • Helping build digital confidence and consistency across the organisation.

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy variety, working independently, and being the go-to person when people need something sorted. You’ll be highly organised, have strong analytical skills and be a skilled communicator who can translate technical systems into plain English. You’ll enjoy liaising with vendors and holding them accountable while keeping things collaborative. You’re friendly, calm and approachable – the kind of person others feel comfortable asking for help.

We are a growing company, and the right candidate will be flexible and adaptable, open to change and able to respond to a growing company’s needs and assist with processes improvement. This is a newly created role — a great opportunity for someone who enjoys improving what exists while bringing creativity, fresh thinking, and ownership to their work.

This is a full-time role, with our Victorian team, based in our Ringwood office, with the flexibility to work from home.

Desired Skills and Experience

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

SAL Consulting strives to offer staff:

  • A strong and supportive workplace culture;
  • A flexible and family-friendly working environment;
  • Varied portfolios of work consistent with areas of interest and skills, matched with current projects and individual needs; and
  • Ongoing support, supervision and opportunities for professional development.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is curious, capable and motivated to learn. You don’t need to meet every criterion perfectly – if this role aligns with your strengths and values, we encourage you to apply:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience working within cloud-based ecosystems, including digital platforms, databases, and business systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and collaboratively with a wide range of people, including external vendors. Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships, work independently with initiative, and contribute effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple workflows, and meet competing deadlines. Able to problem-solve and adapt quickly when priorities shift.
  • Willingness and capacity to learn new systems, tools, and procedures in a dynamic work environment.
  • High proficiency in digital systems administration, including setup, access control, and user support. Skilled in creating clear, practical documentation, procedures, and user guides.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing IT hardware and digital assets across a distributed workforce. Able to coordinate resources and logistics with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Due to the nature of our business, it is required that our staff have WWC and NDIS Screening clearances.
